LumiraDX - Long Term Condition Management Focus Group with LumiraDX
LumiraDX is an international company whose vision is to make diagnostic-led care simpler and more accessible with smarter connected diagnostics and diagnostic-led care solutions.
LumiraDx are best known in the UK for their clinical decision support software, INRstar. Used by the NHS for over 20 years, INRstar provides complete anticoagulation decision support for the induction, point of care testing, dosing and review and management of all anticoagulation patients.
Building on the expertise and technology they have developed, they continue to transform the management of other long-term conditions. Following early research to identify the main problems faced by patients and practices in the management of these conditions they turned to Kernow Health to validate the findings and gather feedback on a series of product ideas and whether they addressed the key challenges faced by practitioners and patients.
Kernow Health facilitated workshops with three GP Practices in Cornwall to discuss which product ideas were of most value. Participants of the sessions included access to Health Care Assistants, Practice Nurses, Practice Managers and GP’s.
The sessions helped LumiraDx to prioritise their product development programme based on real-world feedback.
