Cornwall and Isles of Scilly End of Life Learning Pathway – Provided by Cornwall Hospice Care

  • The Cornwall & Isles of Scilly End of Life Learning Path is available across the entire health and social care community and as such, it has been developed to guide and support staff working in both primary, secondary and social care. The electronic learning path is supported by a hand-held passport which provides a platform for discussion and evidence of the learning achieved.  In addition, there is a programme of face-to-face education sessions available locally.

Symptom Control Using Subcutaneous Medications at End of Life – Provided by CFT

  • This education resource supports the understanding of symptom control using subcutaneous medications at the end of life. This is suitable for registered health care professionals who may be involved in the delivery, administration, or prescribing of subcutaneous medications at the end of life.

Palliative and End of Life Care Learning and Education – Provided by Cornwall End of Life Education Group

  • Aims to ensure that all health and social care professionals providing care and support to people at the end of their lives, across the county, have access to appropriate and responsive education and learning opportunities. They publish a quarterly calendar of events.
