General Practice Health Inequalities Fellowships
Cornwall Training Hub is pleased to be offering another Health Inequalities fellowship opportunity, funded by NHS Cornwall & IoS ICB.
This is an exciting opportunity for up to 6 clinical professionals with an interest in Health Inequalities to work on a project for 4 hours per week, for 12 months, starting in October 2026.
We are inviting applications from clinical professionals employed in General Practice that have a project idea to benefit their patient population. The project should demonstrate improvement outcomes and provide a sustainable long-term solution or mitigation to health inequality.
Applications are invited from clinical professionals at any stage of their career, and candidates should be able to start their project in October 2026. The successful candidates will benefit from peer group support, in addition to mentoring from the Clinical Lead for the Cornwall Deep End network.
The opportunity may be of particular interest to those who are interested in
- Upskilling to meet the needs of their practice patients in areas of high deprivation
- Those employed in “Deep End” network practices or serving diverse or underrepresented communities.
- Reducing health inequalities at practice, PCN or county level to align with health improvement priorities.
- Education and teaching relating to reducing health inequalities.
