Working as a GP at Godolphin Health

We use Klinik to triage all appointment requests, helping patients access the right clinician at the right time.

GPs undertake 12 consultations during both morning and afternoon surgeries, alongside an equitable share of duty sessions.

We recognise the importance of manageable workloads, protected time and clinician wellbeing. We therefore provide:

Protected time for pathology and prescription processing
Pro-rata dedicated administrative time
An equitable share of duty sessions
Relatively few home visits, distributed across the wider clinical team
A shared approach to caring for our palliative and frail housebound patients
Participation in Enhanced Access services through a shared rota
Our aim is to ensure that clinicians can provide high-quality patient care without excessive or unmanageable workloads.

Training & Development

We are a training practice, supporting both GP registrars and medical students.

Teamwork and continuous learning are at the heart of our practice.

We hold a weekly multidisciplinary team meeting, bringing together the clinical team to discuss patient care, share knowledge and support one another.

We also have a daily morning coffee break — an important opportunity to catch up with colleagues and enjoy a few minutes together.

Team walks at lunchtime are also common… slightly weather-dependent!

Every three months, we hold a protected half-day clinical governance and educational session for all staff, providing dedicated time for learning, development, reflection and service improvement.

Why Join Us?

We believe that looking after our patients starts with looking after our team.

If you are an enthusiastic, patient-focused GP looking to join a welcoming practice with:
