This 1.5 hour session, delivered via MS Teams, is aimed all primary care clinicians who manage patients with osteoarthritis (OA).

- Do you want to improve conversations about OA for you and your patients?
This training session will help you to effectively diagnose and manage your hip and knee OA patients in primary care.
Learning aims:
- Understanding OA pathology
- Improve your understanding of NICE guidance on diagnosis and management of OA
- Improving conversations with your patients about OA
- Understanding conservative management
- Understanding the role of imaging in diagnosis and in the referral process
- Understanding when to refer for arthroplasty
Course Cost
This course is funded if your Practice subscribes to the Primary Care Education Programme. The cost of the course for NON Education Programme Members is £48 (including VAT). This course is for staff working within the Cornwall healthcare economy. We reserve the right to cancel any ineligible bookings.
