This training will be taking place on the 11th October 9.15-4.30 in the Conference Centre at Carn Brea Leisure Centre, Station Road, Pool, Redruth, TR15 3QS. Refreshments will be made available during the session. Lunch will not be provided so please do bring your own. There are also facilities at the Leisure Centre to purchase food.
N.B. This is a repeat session of the NMP Update being delivered in July 2024.
This course is for staff who are Independent and/or Supplementary Prescribers working within primary care.
This session will be delivered by:
- Dr Colin Roberts, GP and Associate Professor in Advanced Practice at University of Plymouth, and
- Gavin Wollacott, ACP, Programme Lead for Independent and/or Supplementary Prescribing and Lecturer in Advanced Practice at University of Plymouth.
The study day will be delivered with a clinical supervision ethos, where case studies can be discussed and debated and clinicians can work collaboratively within action learning sets. In the afternoon, advanced skills will be covered.

Cost of Course
This course is provided free of charge to members of the Primary Care Education Programme. For non-members, a charge of £186 (including VAT) applies.
