Immunisation Update – Interprofessional (Virtual Learning) – 24th September 2024

Our immunisation training programme has been adapted to be interprofessional, to incorporate the many different healthcare workers who can now participate in immunisation. Interprofessional education also improves understanding of other professional roles and responsibilities, which in turn has a positive impact on patient outcomes.

This training is a blended learning programme that consists of 2 MANDATORY components:

  • PRE-WORK (full details can be found in the course profile) – this is an essential part of the training. You will be expected to draw upon this knowledge in the virtual seminar. It is your responsibility to ensure that the pre-work has been satisfactorily completed.
  • INTERACTIVE VIRTUAL SEMINAR – taking place on the 24th September 2024, 8.30am-1.30pm, via TEAMS, this session explores and builds upon the content covered in the pre-work. You will be expected to participate in quizzes, case study and scenario discussions with peers so you MUST have a working microphone and video functionality. You must also access the seminar on an individual device so that you can participate in the break-out rooms.
