Workshops on the Day
Alongside the recruitment fair, we are hosting three free workshops to help you make informed career decisions.
👉 Workshop 1: First 5 Support
10:30am – 11:15am
Designed for newly qualified GPs, this workshop will cover the support available during your first five years in practice, including education programmes, mentoring, peer groups and additional training opportunities.
👉 Workshop 2: International Medical Graduate Support & Visas
11:30am – 12:30pm
If you are an International Medical Graduate, this session is not to be missed. Receive practical guidance on visa applications and hear about the support available to help you settle into practice in Cornwall.
Hosted by our IMG Ambassador, who understands the journey firsthand.
👉 Workshop 3: Partnerships in General Practice
12:45pm – 1:30pm
Interested in becoming a GP Partner? This workshop explores the realities of partnerships, the benefits, challenges and common myths, helping you understand whether this pathway could be right for you.
Not Based in Cornwall?
We would especially welcome interest from GPs currently living outside the county who may be considering relocation or a new lifestyle opportunity.
