The PITstop 2.5-day advanced diabetes course focuses on supporting people with type 2 diabetes on more complex medication regimens, including GLP-1 and insulin initiation and ongoing support. Please only consider the advanced course if you have previously completed a foundation course or equivalent training and have a good understanding of the diabetes oral medications.
Course delivery
This course is delivered online over 2 and a half days. The first two days are held together and the half day follow-up is approximately a month after. Students will have access to a paper workbook and an interactive pdf workbook.

This course is provided through PITstop Diabetes at a cost of £570 inc VAT (online course price).
If you are a registered nurse or AHP working in general practice in Cornwall, you can make an application for CPD funding for course fees using the Training Fees Request Form.
