Healthy Cornwall Mental Health Training – Provided by Healthy Cornwall, Cornwall Council

  • A range of training including Mental Health Awareness, Connect 5, Mental Health First Aid, Making Every Contact Count, Psychological First Aid, Self Harm Awareness, Suicide First Aid (including ASIST) as well as resources / videos.

Mental Health Awareness Programme – Provided by E-Learning for Health

  • This short programme aims to raise the awareness of mental health amongst health care staff. It is designed to give a broad overview of what encompasses mental illness, the link between mental and physical health diagnoses and outline some possible treatment options. These sessions provide all staff working within health care with some general strategies to help support individuals who are worried about their mental health, and advice about where to find extra support.

Children and Young People Mental Health – Early Intervention and Crisis Programme – Provided by Cornwall Training Hub

  • Training is being provided as part of a programme to 1) improve CYP mental health crisis care across all settings 2) equip infant, children and young people’s intervention staff to address a wide range of emotional, social, wellbeing and mental health challenges. A range of resources, e-learning and session recordings are available.
