This training will be taking place on the 5th September 1.00pm – 4.00pm at Cudmore House, Treliske Industrial Estate, Truro, TR1 3LP.
This training is aimed at healthcare professionals where venepuncture has been identified as required for their job role. This course is suitable if you are new to the skill or have not completed the skill for a period of six months or more and/or competency has lapsed.
Delegates will receive a package of learning materials prior a week before the course start and will be asked to review this prior to attending.
Delegates will be asked to complete a supervised practice in their places of work prior independent practice. A checklist of supervision will be made available to supervisors. Once this is complete, they will be able to complete these skills independently. We may contact your manager to facilitate this.
Cost of Course
This course is for staff working within the Cornwall healthcare economy and is provided free of charge to members of the Primary Care Education Programme. For non-members, a charge of £102 (including VAT) applies.
If you need to cancel a booked place on a course, please do so giving sufficient notice for the place to be reallocated. As per our terms and conditions, we reserve the right to charge for places cancelled less than 5 working days prior to the course start (unless otherwise stated), or failure to take up the place on the day of the course. This applies to both members and non-members of the Primary Care Education Programme.
