This Travel Health update is delivered via 2 virtual sessions hosted on MS Teams. You must attend both sessions.
- Part 1 – 4th February 2025, 9.15am-10.45am
- Part 2 – 11th February 2025, 9.15am-10.45am (there will be an optional session on TB from 10.45am-11.15am for those who have not previously attended)
This course is designed for those working within primary care who have completed travel immunisations in the past and who require an update. It will provide an update in travel medicine, covering recent outbreaks and hot topics in travel health. The second session will provide the opportunity for delegates to engage in case study consultations and discuss with their peers.
Session 1 will cover:
- Travel medicine catch up and recent outbreaks
- Hepatitis A and Hepatitis B
- Accidents while travelling
Session 2 will cover:
- Zika Virus
- Immunocompromised travellers
- Travel Insurance
- Case studies
Cost of Course
This course is provided free of charge to members of the Primary Care Education Programme. For non-members, a charge of £78 (inclusive of VAT) applies.
