Suitable for clinicians working in primary care, this 3-hour course is delivered by Sexual Health Nurse Practitioner in Primary Care, Alice Hobbs. Alice has worked in sexual health services for over 15 years and now provides sexual and reproductive health in Primary Care. The course will cover:

- Taking a sexual history
- STI’s and differential diagnosis and treatment
- Vaginal discharge and causes
- Male symptoms non STI’s
- Different tests: swabs and bloods and window periods
- Brief outline of Pre-Exposure Prophylaxis (PrEP) and Post Exposure Prophylaxis (PEP)
- Sexual assault acute/historic and who to refer to
Course Cost
This course is provided free of charge to members of the Primary Care Education Programme. For non-members, a charge of £78 (including VAT) applies.
