This 90 minute session, taking place on the 11th February 2025, 14.00-15.30, will cover:
- when to consider an injectable therapy as part of the treatment regimen
- which are used and why (GLP-1 Agonists / insulin)
- some top tips for people with type 2 diabetes already on insulin
This training is for practice nurses, advanced nurse practitioners, community nurses, clinical pharmacists, paramedics GPs and GP trainees who have completed a foundation level diabetes course (including CDEP e-learning).
This training is being delivered by PITstop Diabetes.
Course Cost
This course is for staff working within the Cornwall healthcare economy. If you work outside of Cornwall, please contact PITStop Diabetes direct.
This course is provided free of charge to members of the Cornwall Primary Care Education Programme. If your practice doesn’t subscribe to the Primary Care Education Programme, please contact us kernowhealthcic.workforce@nhs.net We reserve the right to cancel ineligible bookings.
