Managing Medical Uncertainty – what to do when you don’t know what to do.

- Understand why uncertainty arises in primary care.
- Learn a framework to explore medical uncertainty.
- Become aware of dysfunctional ways out.
- Practice skills to manage different types of uncertainty.
This course is being delivered by Dr Stephanie Jackson. Stephanie has worked in Cornwall as a GP for over 20 years and is currently working at Carn to Coast Health Centre. She is a Training Programme Director for Cornwall GP Training Scheme. She also offers multi-professional education through the Primary Care Academy and Cornwall Training Hub.
This session will be delivered via Zoom. This means we will provide the trainers with your email address and contact details so that they can provide you with the Zoom link direct. Continuing with a booking will constitute your tacit agreement to this.
You will need computer/laptop/or electronic device that can load the Zoom app. You will also need a working speaker/microphone and video device – either inbuilt or a webcam.
We ask you not to share a room with others, as part of the session will be practising skills.
Course Cost
This course is funded if your Practice subscribes to the Primary Care Education Programme. The cost of the course for NON Education Programme Members is £78 (including VAT).
