Intrauterine Devices – update for existing and new fitters
This session will be offered on Thursday 30th January, 14.00-1630, at St Erme Medical. This will be delivered by Dr Sarah Gray in workshop group format with models and devices to handle. It will be interactive and provide the opportunity to ask questions.
This session will cover:
- Background to the method
- Options available
- Patient assessment and counselling
- Pain relief
- Fitting techniques
- Complications
- Follow up and troubleshooting.
- Removal/replacement
Learning objectives
- Understanding of the revision to FSRH guidance (scheduled for publication)
- Confidence in patient selection and counselling
- Confidence in practical techniques
Course Cost
This course is funded if your Practice subscribes to the Primary Care Education Programme. The cost of the course for NON Education Programme Members is £112 (including VAT).
