If so, come and join us at our annual Cornwall General Practice Recruitment Fair on Wednesday 4 June at Falmouth Hotel from 9.30am – 2.00pm

This is your opportunity to meet with future employers all in one place.  Come to our General Practice recruitment fair and ask questions, and find out what it’s like to work for them and what they have to offer. Talk to the Training Hub to find out how our job matching scheme works, and what additional training and development opportunities may be available to you in your role.

👉 Workshop 1:  First 5 Support, 10 – 10.45 am

This workshop will provide further information on the ongoing education programme, mentoring support, peer groups and other training available to help you settle into your new role. There will also be information and support for Newly Qualified GP’s.

👉 Workshop 2: Support and Career Development for Nurses, 10.30 – 11.30am

Hosted by Senior Educators from Cornwall Training Hub, find out more about how you can grow your career from a Phlebotomist to an Advanced Practice Nurse. Learn more about the support for newly qualified Nurses and the education and training opportunities available.

👉 Workshop 3: International Medical Graduate Support and visas, 11.00am – 12.00pm

If you are an international medical graduate this workshop is not to be missed.  You will be provided with practical advice on making visa applications, together with information on additional support available.  This workshop is hosted by our IMG Ambassador, who qualified 2 years ago, so can remember what it is like to be where you are now.  Learn about the different employment options available to you and how you can create a portfolio role to meet your visa requirements.
