This session is taking place on the 23rd October 2025, 9:00am-12:30pm, at Shortlanesend Village Hall, outside Truro.
This training is aimed at Health Care Assistants, and entry level Practice Nurses, to enable them to gain an understanding of the importance of hypertension management, in general practice, and feel more confident in their delivery of this service, thus ensuring that patients receive the best and most up to date advice. By involving the whole primary care team in patient care – to reach the targets set by NHS England to successfully detect and manage hypertension – we will, in turn, reduce patient risk of complications such as heart attack and stroke.
Come along to our friendly face to face session where there will be the opportunity to gain hands-on learning of conducting a hypertension review.
