Audience: This webinar is aimed at healthcare professionals that are already managing COPD patients in practice and are wanting an update.
This webinar will cover:
- The importance of getting the right diagnosis
- The latest evidence and guidelines for COPD management
- The treatment options and tailoring treatment to the patient
- Nonpharmacological management options
- Recognising and managing exacerbations
- Supported self-management
The webinar will be hosted via TEAMs. Your booking details will be shared with the training supplier, LR Respiratory, who will send out course information and joining link in advance of the session. They will provide you with the opportunity to test the link to ensure it is not blocked by firewalls and to download anything necessary. You will need a good internet connection and a microphone and webcam ideally.
Throughout the webinar you will be expected to contribute to discussion and will be able to contribute and ask questions using the ‘chat feature’.
This meeting will be supported by a pharma company – tbc. They will have not initiated this meeting and will not have had no input into the content, programme or organisation of this educational meeting. At the start of the webinar, they will deliver a 10 minute promotional product presentation.

Cost of course
This course is fully funded if your Practice subscribes to the Primary Care Education Programme. For non-members, an administrative charge of £30 (including VAT) applies.
If you need to cancel a booked place on a course, please do so giving sufficient notice for the place to be reallocated. As per our terms and conditions, we reserve the right to charge for places cancelled less than 5 working days prior to the course start (unless otherwise stated), or failure to take up the place on the day of the course.
