This session provides an overview of three main areas of concern when managing menopause in Practice. It is aimed at Clinicians, particularly GPs, Nurses and AHPs. It is delivered by Dr Jo Parry, a local GP with a specialist interest in women’s health. She also supports the Training Hub with an educational advice and guidance service on treatment of the menopause and regularly receives questions regarding these topics at kernowhealthcic.menopauseadviceandguidance@nhs.net.
The session covers:
- Unscheduled/post menopausal bleeding including updated BMS advice and the new RCHT pathways
- Use of Progesterone, Oestrogen, and Testosterone
- Breast cancer/family of history of cancer

This course is provided free of charge to members of the Primary Care Education Programme. For non-members, a charge of £48 (including VAT) applies.
