This session provides an overview of three main areas of concern when managing menopause in Practice. This course is for registered professionals, particularly GPs, Nurses and AHPs.
It is delivered by Dr Charlotte Patton. Dr Patton is a Women’s Health GP and registered British Menopause Society Menopause Specialist working at St Austell Healthcare. She is one of the Clinical Leads for Women’s Health in Cornwall and runs the Cornwall Menopause Advice and Guidance Service at kernowhealthcic.menopauseadviceandguidance@nhs.net.
The session covers:
- Unscheduled/post menopausal bleeding including updated BMS advice and the new RCHT pathways
- Use of Progesterone, Oestrogen, and Testosterone
- Breast cancer/family of history of cancer

This course is provided free of charge to members of the Primary Care Education Programme. For non-members, a charge of £65 applies.
