Kernow Health CIC certified as a Disability Confident Committed employer

We are thrilled that Kernow Health CIC has been certified as a Disability Confident Committed employer! With 7.7 million working age people in the UK having a disability, and 83% of people acquiring their disability or long-term health condition whilst in work, it is vital that businesses are confident to attract, recruit and retain disabled employees, including those with long-term health conditions.

We, as a company, are committed to ensuring we have an inclusive and accessible recruitment process, so we signed up to the scheme to demonstrate our support for equality, diversity, and inclusion. By being a Disability Confident employer, we also help raise awareness and open up conversation to help reduce some of the stigma or fear of employing someone with a disability.
