Port Isaac Medical Centre is a 2 site semi-rural dispensing practice of circa 9000 patients based across our riverside Wadebridge site & Port Isaac site with sea views from the consulting rooms. We are currently a 4 partner, 2 Salaried GP training practice hosting F2s and GP VTS trainees. We have a full complement of excellent nurses for chronic disease management, as well as the North Cornwall Coast PCN allied healthcare professionals. We use klinik triage which is run by our care navigators with support from the duty GP. We’re a friendly team and consistently get great feedback from our F2s and GP Trainees, and even patients! We are heavily involved in research with a dedicated research nurse and there’s opportunity to get involved with this if you’re interested and we actively encourage career development and special interests. We continue to work hard to reduce the administrative burden and utilise coders, pharmacists, pharmtechs and administrative support staff to facilitate this. Non- duty day typically: 0830-1730 Sip and Sign Daily coffee breaks at 1030 to touch base with colleagues and sign scripts as well as weekly protected morning clinical meeting for CPD. |
