By the end of the programme you will be better equipped with essential leadership skills to lead your business, including, influencing, collaborating, communicating, and coaching. You will also have undertaken your own personal development plan.
Who is the programme for?
This programme is aimed at Clinical Directors, Aspiring Clinical Directors, GP Partners, Strategic Managers, or Senior Level Leaders working with multiple teams.
Learning Outcomes
By the end of the programme you will be able to:
- Appraise your personal leadership style, behaviours and preferences and explain the impact on others.
- Describe and apply methods for developing high performing teams.
- Evaluate how to influence and collaborate with others at a business and system level and formulate appropriate strategies
- Apply a range of tools and models for effective change management and evaluate your role in it.
- Assess the requirements for creating and implementing inclusive cultures and generate ideas for change.
Programme Delivery
This is a blended learning programme consisting of:
- 5 face-to-face core modules delivered at various venues across Cornwall
- Executive coaching
- 2 action learning sets
- ‘Insights Discovery’ psychometric personal profile – this must be completed prior to commencing the course.

- Introductory session: Thursday, 19th March 2026 via Teams – 2:15pm to 3:30pm
- Module 1: Tuesday, 14 April 2026 – at St. Austell RFC Club, PL26 7FH
- Module 2: Wednesday, 10 June 2026 – at Scorrier House, Redruth, TR16 5AU
- Module 3: Thursday, 15 September 2026 – at Chacewater Village Hall, Truro, TR4 8PZ
- Module 4: Thursday, 19 November 2026 – at Scorrier House, Redruth, TR16 5AU
- Module 5: Wednesday, 27 January 2027 – at St. Austell RFC Club, PL26 7FH
Action Learning sets: 2 hour sessions, delivered face-to-face
- Tuesday, 7th July 2026 – 2:00pm-4:30pm – venue TBC
- Tuesday, 1st December 2026 – 2:00-4:30pm – venue TBC
Please note you are expected to attend all sessions.
Executive Coaching: up to 4 sessions to be arranged on an individual basis.
The start date for the programme is 14 April 2026, but please note you will be expected to complete an online survey to inform your personal profile and attend an online introductory session on 19 March 2026 for 1 hour. This will be followed by an individual discussion on your profile by 10 April 2026.
Course Cost
This course is funded by the Training Hub through retention funding. However, due to late withdrawals from previous courses, we are now adding a small charge of £100 to cover admin costs.
