- To understand different approaches to the consultation process
- To be able to undertake a primary care clinical history
- To be aware of tools / skills that can help with the consultation process
- To apply theory to practice: simulated consultations
This course is being delivered by Dr Stephanie Jackson. Stephanie has worked in Cornwall as a GP for over 20 years and is currently working at Carn to Coast Health Centre. She is a Training Programme Director for the Cornwall GP Training Scheme and also offers multi-professional teaching for the Primary Care Academy and Cornwall Training Hub.
This session will be delivered via Zoom. This means we will provide the trainers with your email address and contact details so that they can provide you with the Zoom link direct. Continuing with a booking will constitute your tacit agreement to this.
You will need computer/laptop/or electronic device that can load the Zoom app. You will also need a working speaker/microphone and either built in video or a webcam.
You are advised not to be sharing a room as the session includes skills practice.
Course Cost
This course is funded if your Practice subscribes to the Primary Care Education Programme. The cost of the course for NON Education Programme Members is £78 (including VAT).
