This Diabetes and Cardio-Renal community of practice will provide an opportunity for practice nurses in Cornwall to join together on a regular basis and engage in both peer and specialist nurse support.
Agenda:
2:00pm – Preconception Care in Diabetes (delivered by Alison Parker & Janet Prout, Diabetes Specialist Nurses)
3:00pm – Sharing ideas for best practice
Clinical supervision and patient scenarios, as necessary
4:00pm – Finish
Diabetes and Cardio-Renal community of practice sessions will take place virtually on a bi-monthly basis and will consist of:
- bitesize teaching from clinical experts
- case study discussion
- peer and specialist nurse support
- signposting to education and resources
Booking onto one of our Diabetes and Cardio-Renal community of practice sessions will mean that we will regularly send you information about future sessions.
