This course is delivered by Dr Sarah Gray and will be taking place at St Erme Community Centre on 27th March 2025, 2.00pm-5.00pm.
This will be a group session aimed at primary care clinicians who provide contraception advice and counselling. It will revise the principles of all recommendable methods and help you to guide women through the choices available to them.
We last offered this session before the pandemic and there have been significant changes to guidance because of different ways of working and as the evidence base has evolved. We will discuss these changes in the context of clinical case discussion to ensure that they are relevant. There will be plenty of opportunity to interact and discuss.
The session will provide updating both for appraisal and the DFSRH and will allow discussion for further training for those who are interested.
Venue – St Erme Community Centre, Castle Field, St Erme
Trainer – Dr Sarah Gray
Timing -14:00-17:00
This event will be supported by pharmaceutical companies, tbc, through purchase of exhibition space. Local formulary products may be discussed. Pharmaceutical companies have had no involvement in the organisation or content of this meeting.
